Individual Mental Skills Coaching


Athletes

Imagine having someone to work with that is completely dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and improve your performance. Individual consulting is for the athlete that is ready to take control of their mental game.  This is your chance to target your specific needs in order to improve your performance. Developing a strong set of mental skills helps you to dial in your focus and confidence to feel grounded in your ability to perform your best under any situation.

Individual coaching not only provides skill building, but also serves as a sounding board as well as a form of accountability and support. Athletes can choose to start with a six-session or twelve-session package or simply sign up for single sessions. Carrie offers in person coaching sessions for local athletes and remote coaching sessions by phone for athletes outside of Northern California. Injured Athletes

Unfortunately, injury is a part of the sports journey for many athletes. From the onset of injury to getting back into competition athletes go through a rollercoaster of emotions. Carrie has coached many injured athletes back into top mental form helping to expedite their return to competition (often stronger both physically and mentally than before their injury). If you are struggling through an injury and want to make sure your confidence heals at the same rate that your body does, contact Carrie to talk about how she can help you get back on top of your game.

Coaches

Coaches have to perform too! Mental Skills Training for coaches will teach you how to use the techniques of sport psychology for your own performance as well as how to incorporate them with your athletes. Individual coaching will help you to develop your coaching philosophy, clarify your goals, and prevent burnout. Mental Skills Coaching for Groups


Training Groups

Do you have a group of athletic minded friends that want to know more about mental skills coaching? Are you ready to tackle your next big goal and need help to stay on track? This six-week mental skills training program is perfect for folks who are trying to achieve similar athletic goals or trying to get on track with a consistent exercise program. Teams

Mental Skills Training for teams is both pro-active and preventative. Incorporating a Mental Skills Training component into your program will enable your team to perform to their potential. In addition to mastering the mental aspects of individual performance, Mental Skills Coaching for teams focuses on building team cohesion, improving communication, creating team commitment, and clarifying team goals. Just like individual coaching, the Mental Skills Training program is tailored to your team's specific needs, goals, and budget.

On Site Workshops

Carrie provides on site workshops for teams and training groups introducing mental skills techniques and how to use them to enhance sport performance. Carrie's workshops are fun, energetic, educational, and interactive and are ideal for teams and groups that want to provide their athletes with the mental skills necessary to perform to their potential. Training Camps

Whether your camp is 2-days or 2-weeks, training camps are a perfect time to work on and strengthen mental skills. Workshops are a great way to give your athletes a competitive edge and break up training components throughout your camp. Carrie is available for camps as a guest speaker or you can have her integrate a Mental Skills Training program throughout your entire camp. Carrie can provide Mental Skills Training workshops as well as meet with athletes individually.
